SendAFriend is a service that allows you to send stuffed animals with personalized notes (almost) anywhere in the world. Just choose a fluffy friend, add a personalized note, and we do the rest. Your friend will be swaddled neatly in tissue paper with your personalized note, and arrive in our signature bright blue “Someone Loves You” box.

With SendAFriend, you can ship adorable fluffy friends almost anywhere in the world! They are the perfect gift to make anyone’s day. Plus, a portion of your purchase will be donated to organizations that share our passion of making the world a better place.

Packages are sent anonymously and do not include any buyer information on or inside of the box. The recipient will not know who sent the package unless you (the sender) specifically put your name on the personalized note when ordering.

SendAFriend does reserve the exclusive right to reveal the sender’s information if the recipient reaches out to our support team in regards to who sent the package. Please do not use SendAFriend with malicious intent.

If you received a SendAFriend and are curious as to who sent this adorable package, please reach out to our support team for more information at support@sendafriend.co. You’ll need the order number included on the top left of the personalized notecard.

When purchasing two or more care packages heading to different households, you'll need to place separate orders for each SendAFriend. This will allow you to address each package individually and ensure your fluffy friends will arrive at their respective new homes. You'll receive separate order and tracking information that will make it easy for you to keep up with each package.

When purchasing two or more care packages heading to the same household, we recommend placing one order. Having all of your friends packaged together means you’ll only have one order number/tracking number and ensures your fluffy friends will arrive at the same time. We recommend including the name of each intended recipient on their personalized card so that we can label each individual box with the recipient’s name. This way, you’ll know who to give the correct package to upon arrival.

Edit Shipping Address

Customers can update shipping addresses if the order has not been fulfilled and it has been less than 6 hours since the order was placed. This can be done through a link in your Order Confirmation Email.

If it has been more than 6 hours since the order was placed, our team may be able to help if the package is still in our warehouse. Please contact support@sendafriend.co.

Edit Billing Address

Our team is not able to edit any billing information associated with the order. As long as the shipping address is correct, all is well. If the shipping address is incorrect, please contact our team at support@sendafriend.co.

Edit Personalized Note, Product, or Cancel Order

If your order has not been fulfilled, our team is available to help with making updates to your order. Please contact our support team at support@sendafriend.co. Be sure to include any information you’d like to update when emailing our team.

Please do not include foul language on our your personalized notecard. SendAFriend is all about spreading love and positivity. If our team sees an order with offensive, obscene, demeaning, or otherwise inappropriate language, we will not fulfill the order.

Shipping/Delivery

For US Orders:

SendAFriend offers standard and expedited USPS shipping options. See the table below for costs and approximate shipping times. All shipping estimates are calculated in business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

For International Orders:

NOTICE: Should your package be returned to us, we do not refund the cost of international shipping.

International shipping times may vary. Frequently, international orders experience a lack of tracking details or unexpected delays with deliveries taking up to 60 days to arrive to some countries. If you are placing an order to an international address, please be aware of this and expect delays.

We recommend alerting international recipients of an incoming package to avoid inadvertent delays or return-to-sender issues. International shipment prices may not include taxes and duties that the recipient’s country charges upon arrival. These fees must be paid upon the arrival of the package in the recipient’s county and cannot be collected at checkout. Packages may be held at the postal facility until these fees are paid. The recipient may be required to go to the postal facility and pay the fees before the package can be collected. We recommend researching the shipment of gifts to the recipient’s country before placing an order.

Additionally, we recommend tracking your package with the shipping carrier of the destination country once the item leaves the US. Many packages lose tracking after they've left the US, but may be tracked with the local carrier. For example, if you're shipping to Canada, please use your USPS tracking number to track the package with Canada Post. Tracking your package with the destination country's postal system will give you the most up-to-date information.

If your order has been in transit for 10 business days (domestic shipments) and has not arrived, please contact us here for information on where your order may be. For international shipments, please allow 60 days for your order to arrive.

If your order has been marked as delivered by the USPS and you have not received it, your item may be lost or stolen. Sadly, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages and we are not able to issue refunds or reship these packages.

Replacement packages cannot be shipped if it has been more than 30 days since your item was marked as delivered.

Due to the ever-increasing costs of doing business, we currently are not able to offer free shipping. Our shipping fees are calculated to give you the best possible rate based on the shipping destination and weight of the package.

We are currently unable to ship to the United Kingdom due to the UK’s split from the European Union.

Yes! We ship care packages to college campuses all the time! Please be sure to visit the university’s website for instructions for sending a package to the campus. The name of the student is extremely important. Most universities will not deliver a package if the name does not match the name on file for that student.

Typically, when a package is being delivered to a college campus, the mail staff from the university will receive the package (a 'delivered' notification is then sent from the USPS). Then the mail staff from the university will either deliver the item to the dorm or the student will need to travel to the mailroom to collect the item. Sometimes this process does take a couple of days from the time the item is marked as 'delivered' by the USPS through the time it is actually delivered to the individual on campus. We recommend asking your friend to check with the campus mail staff if the package has been marked delivered but has not been received.

Yes, we ship care packages to hospitals regularly. You'll want to be sure you've got accurate information, including the street address and room number. Shipping to a hospital generally takes a bit longer than shipping to someone's home.

Typically in this situation, when a package is being delivered to someone in the hospital, the sender will receive a "delivered" notification a few days before the package makes its way to the recipient. Hospitals have various mail delivery procedures but oftentimes there is a carrier company that collects the packages from the carrier (USPS or UPS) or a facility within the hospital that accepts the packages. Packages are often updated with an "agent for final delivery" notification. Currently, with Covid-19 protocols updating and changing, packages are taking a little longer to make it to patients.

SendAFriend cannot be held responsible if a patient moves to a different room than is indicated on the shipping label or if the patient is to leave the hospital before the package arrives.

Sadly we do not offer scheduled deliveries at this time. If you wish to get the delivery date close to a specific date, please take a look at our order delivery estimates above and place your order accordingly.

We try to keep each and every animal in stock, but sometimes we cannot keep up with demand. We currently restock and launch new products about once per month. You can click on any out-of-stock product and sign up for alerts to be notified when it is back!

If your stuffed friend gets a little dirty, try using a cloth with cold water and some mild soap. We recommend that you try to avoid machine washing in order to increase the lifespan of your friend. If you absolutely must machine wash your plush, use the gentlest cycle, with mild soap, and no fabric softener. Then, let your friend air dry!

GiveAFriend

This is a donation that SendAFriend will deliver; no items will be shipped to the customer.

We have established ongoing relationships with many pediatric facilities in the midwest and delivered thousands of GiveAFriend packages around this region. Recently, we have shipped GiveAFriend packages from coast to coast and in between, all across the county. Donations are delivered to children’s hospitals and nonprofits in the United States.

We process GiveAFriend donations at the conclusion of specific campaigns or when the need arises. GiveAFriend campaign care packages are delivered to the organization typically within one week from the close of the campaign. We also deliver these donations based on need. Packages are delivered to foster homes, domestic violence shelters, and emergency crews on a monthly basis.

Absolutely! As with all SendAFriend purchases, 10% of net profits will go directly to organizations focused on spreading love. If your donation is made through a specific GiveAFriend Campaign, 10% of the purchase will be donated directly to that organization.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns for a full refund within 30 days of the delivery date. To facilitate a return, please contact us here. We do not cover shipping costs for returned packages unless the product is incorrect or damaged upon arrival.
